Galbion Antares
Born: 744 SE
Bio: Galbion always knew what he would do in life. He passion was healing and taking care of people. He studied in the Church under many great priests, and learned a lot about white magic. Not content with simply using white magic, with no idea why it worked or what it was doing, he spent much of his time studying human anatomy and physiology, as well as advancing new medical practices. The understanding this gave him made him a master of white magic, and he was often sought out for his expert knowledge.
One day, Galbion had to deal with several knights who had been severly wounded in combat. He realized that the place his healing powers would be the most useful was on the battlefield. He joined the Military and spent much time in training, not to learn how to hurt soldiers, but to learn how soldiers would be hurt. When he noticed the number of wounded soldiers he had to deal with, he began to attend war meetings, to divise strategies that would minimise casualties. He spoke with such authority on the strategies that it was clear he was not someone to be trifled with. He began to be sought out for his expert knowledge on battle strategies. In 768, he was electecd to the Military High Council. Even Kulara knows to listen when Galbion speaks out to criticize a plan, or to propose one of his own. |
