Velius has fallen.

And here's the Riovanes Rooftop. Honestly, not sure why you thought this was one of the hard ones, Cren. Relm can one-shot Elmdor, but in this particular battle Atheme wouldn't even let me get that off.

Here are a couple more highlights:

First Balk Fight:

Sluice Gate:

Germinas Peak:

The last one doesn't seem like it'd be a bad one, but it's the beginning of the really hard "normal" story battles at this point. There will be more like it to come.

Elmdor. One of the hardest in the game, no question. For a long time I thought this was a run-breaking, until Lede and Celia both accidentally Ultima'd Elmdor. I've never been able to reproduce *that*, but I did find a way to make Lede consistently Ultima him, which turned out to be enough.

And then Zalera:

I thought Riovanes would be bad because of Rafa's tendency to to be uncooperative and the party's low speed. That Zalera fight was pretty good.

Spoiler: show
I forgot Angel Rings grant Reraise.

This is impossible. Forking, impossible. I dont care that I did it, I stand by "impossible".

EDIT:

My god I was wrong...

That's not even anywhere near the hardest fight in the game. Altima is soooooo much worse.

Good job on the run AD. I ended up watching a good chunk of them. What's next on your agenda?

Right now I'm doing a 7th Saga no consumables, no Inns run. Mainly because my brother taunted me into it.

Also, as part of it, I'm trying to get Esuna "perfect stats". It's... something I've been meaning to finish with her for years, and also it'll be hugely helpful in this *particular* run where I cant use runes or b.powers or b.protects or healing items...

The reason I'm doing it with Esuna is because Esuna will always have max Speed and Magic (255) by level 80. That means her "perfect" core stats just means getting her 3 power and 3 defense for *every* level up (I don't worry about HP and MP because they're going to be whopping by endgame no matter what you do). That means you really only have to stat manipulate *two* stats for her, as opposed to other characters who might have to manipulate more. At level 80, I'll pick her up a new partner, switching to a level 80 Lux with the Elnard stat boost. That will basically be the game's "perfect" party. Lux has the highest overall stat potential, and a level 80 version with the Elnard boost will be absolutely gamebreaking all by himself. But Esuna's the only "main" partner who can even come close to matching that kind of awesomeness.

Still, Nioh (though on break with WotN DLC *before the Abyss*).

NOTE: Though I'm not playing it currently (and may, in fact, continue to never return to it), I'll likely back-up the TUGOWU info I have regarding finalized GoW:A stuff here (and there) in a way that is easier for the current (rusty) me to understand (hopefully). Gets tiresome having to hunt down that stuff over and over (tired before I can even begin trying to make sense of the notes).

Been wondering if you might float by sometime soon, GMG. You got any early thoughts on the new God of War? I've been wondering if I should pick it up or not... I had mixed feelings on what I've seen so far, but it's getting good reviews so... dunno what to make of it all.
